How it runs
No mystery, no theatre
Automotive marketing rarely fails because nobody had a big idea. It fails in the joins — between national and local, media and site, lead and salesperson. Our process is built to find those first.
The engagement
Five phases, in this order, every time
Timings shift with scope and how clean the data is. The sequence does not. Skipping straight to build is how you get a beautiful campaign pointed at the wrong problem.
Diagnose
Weeks 1–3We go through the commercial numbers, the site, the ad accounts, the analytics and the CRM. The question is not "what should we advertise" — it is "where is growth actually leaking".
Outputs
- Findings document with the leaks ranked by cost
- A clear statement of what is a media problem and what is not
- Recommendation, including the option of not engaging us
Define
Weeks 3–4Before anything is built, we agree what winning means. This is the phase most agencies skip, and it is where most agency relationships quietly go wrong six months later.
Outputs
- Conversion definitions and lead quality tiers
- Measurement model and attribution approach
- Reporting cadence, response standards and escalation paths
- Budget allocation with channel roles
Build
Weeks 4–8Creative, campaigns, landing pages and tracking get built together rather than sequentially, so nothing launches into a destination that undermines it.
Outputs
- Campaign platform and master creative
- Full adaptation set across every required format
- Landing pages or site changes, built and tested
- Tracking implemented and reconciled against your systems
Launch & learn
Ongoing, monthlyLive activity with a structured testing roadmap. Each month you get a written read — what worked, what did not, what we changed and what we are testing next.
Outputs
- Live dashboard against agreed definitions
- Monthly written analysis, not a metrics dump
- Documented test results, including the failures
Reallocate
QuarterlyA genuine reallocation conversation with real decisions in it: what gets more, what gets cut, what stops entirely. If something is not working we would rather kill it than defend it.
Outputs
- Quarterly performance review against the plan
- Reallocated budget and revised roadmap
- Honest assessment of the engagement itself
The deal
What it takes from both sides
What we need from you
- Access to analytics, ad accounts and Search Console
- Sales or pipeline data, however messy it is
- One decision-maker who can actually approve things
- Someone in sales or retail we are allowed to talk to
- Honesty about what has already been tried and failed
What you get from us
- Ownership of every account, pixel, audience and data asset
- A named senior contact, not an account-management layer
- Monthly written analysis in plain English
- Documented working files and asset libraries
- Month-to-month terms after the initial period
Questions
The questions everybody asks
How long before we see results?
Paid channels give a directional read in four to six weeks. Meaningful pipeline movement in a category with a long consideration window generally takes a quarter, and SEO and content work takes longer again. Anyone promising faster in automotive is either buying cheap low-intent leads or guessing.
What does it cost?
A diagnostic is fixed-scope and priced up front. Projects are quoted on scope. Retainers are scoped to the disciplines involved and reviewed quarterly. We will give you a range on the first call rather than making you sit through a process to find out.
Are we locked into a contract?
There is an initial period so the work has time to be judged fairly — generally three to six months depending on discipline. After that it is month-to-month. Locking clients in produces complacency and we would rather not have that pressure removed.
Who actually does the work?
The senior people you meet. We are deliberately not structured so that a pitch team hands over to a junior delivery team once the contract is signed.
Will you work alongside our existing agency or in-house team?
Frequently, yes. Plenty of engagements are one discipline sitting beside an incumbent, or strategy that somebody else executes. It works as long as roles and measurement are defined clearly — which is what the Define phase is for.
What if the diagnostic says we do not need you?
Then we say so and you have a findings document worth more than the fee. It happens. An agency that has never told a prospect they do not need it is not diagnosing anything.
Next step
Start with a diagnostic
Fixed scope, fixed price, and a findings document you keep either way. It is the least risky way to work out whether we are useful to you.
