Social & Community

The comment section is part of the purchase journey

Few categories are as opinionated as this one. EV debates, brand loyalties, aftermarket rivalries and rider communities are not noise around the marketing — they are where a large share of consideration actually happens.

The work

Where the category is genuinely opinionated.

Engagement model
Monthly retainer; production volume scaled to the plan
Response standards
Agreed in writing, including out-of-hours escalation
Platforms
Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, plus category forums and owner groups
Content approach
Native production per platform — never one asset resized five ways

Automotive, aftermarket and motorcycle audiences are unusually knowledgeable and unusually willing to correct you in public. That makes social a genuine risk surface and a genuine advantage. Brands that engage credibly earn advocacy that no media budget buys; brands that post stock imagery and disable comments get read as exactly what they are.

We run social as an operating discipline rather than a content calendar: a publishing rhythm, a defined voice, real response standards, and an escalation path for the moments that need one. For EV in particular, that includes handling sceptical and technically-informed pushback without either dismissing it or capitulating to it.

Creator and community partnerships matter more here than in most categories, and the right partner is very often a mid-sized specialist with genuine standing rather than a large general audience.

Questions

Straight answers

How do you handle negative or sceptical comments, particularly on EV?

With a documented policy agreed before it is needed: what gets a straight factual answer, what gets taken to a private channel, what gets escalated, and the narrow set of cases that warrant no response at all.

Do you produce content or just schedule it?

Produce. Scheduling somebody else’s assets is not a social strategy, and in this category recycled stock content is spotted immediately.
